The list below gives a feel of the Conrail action on a typical day at Marion in September 1987 based on the first seven days of the month.  Interesting to me is the midday parade of Avon (Indianapolis) trains; first outbounds INSY and INPI pass, and then inbounds PIIN, BUIN, and SEIN come in fairly quick succession.
